Take a full-day excursion to the historic city of Alexandria to see the vestiges of a past age. You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza and driven to Alexandria, stopping along the way to use the restroom and purchase a coffee.
Upon arrival, begin your tour of this old city. Proceed to the marble-stone Roman amphitheater at Kom El-Deka, which originally hosted over 800 guests. Enjoy the beauties of its pleasure garden, mosaic-floored Roman baths, and houses.
Then, proceed to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, where you can experience the aura of ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural perfection. The cemetery was built in the second century AD and is now considered one of the seven wonders of the world in the middle ages.

Later, visit the Citadel of Qaitbay, which stands atop the wrecked Alexandria lighthouse. At the end of the excursion, you will be transported back to Cairo or Giza and dropped off at your hotel.
